Soakage boreholes

Soakage borehole
drilling, Auckland.

New bores for stormwater soakage, drilled to the agreed location and scope. Practical coordination with your engineer and site team.

Discuss your project

Start with the right location and scope.

The required bore diameter, number, location and target depth should be established from the project design and site information. We review the practical drilling arrangement and access before confirming the work.

Drilling for Auckland ground.

We offer 150 mm soakage bore drilling, with other diameters discussed where appropriate. Soil, intact rock, fractured rock and cavities can all affect progress and final depth. Ground conditions and bore performance are confirmed on site, rather than assumed from neighbouring properties.

What we can include

  • New soakage bore drilling to the agreed project scope
  • Water or air drilling selected for site and ground conditions
  • Casing and testing where specified in the quote
  • Coordination of access, positioning and site preparation

The final scope and inclusions are set out in your project quote.

Before we quote

Send the drainage design, marked bore locations, specified bore diameter and quantity, and photos of any existing or proposed manhole.

Common questions

Is 150 mm required for every project?

No universal diameter is assumed. We commonly offer 150 mm bores, but the required diameter must be checked against your engineer’s design and the project’s consent conditions.

Can you drill inside a manhole?

This depends on the opening, chamber geometry, rig position and working clearance. Send the design and photos so we can assess the sequence and suitable setup.

Our fieldwork

Soakage drilling on real sites.

From established homes to construction sites, each setup is planned around the proposed bore position, ground conditions and available working space.
