Water truck flow
testing, Auckland.
Understand the measured performance of an existing soakage system with a planned water-truck flow rate test.
Discuss your projectAssess the system you already have.
A flow rate test introduces water at a measured rate and records the response of the soakage device under the test conditions. It helps your engineer assess the existing system and decide whether further investigation or changes are needed.
Condition comes before conclusions.
Sediment, leaves and debris can hide bore openings or restrict flow. An initial check may identify a need for cleaning or access improvements before a useful test can be completed. We discuss water supply, device access and the test arrangement before booking.
What we can include
- Review of accessible device information and previous reports
- Coordination of water-truck supply where included
- Measured flow testing and observation of the system response
- Test results and reporting to the agreed scope
The final scope and inclusions are set out in your project quote.
Before we quote
Send the address, manhole and bore photos, existing drainage plans, previous test reports and vehicle access details for the water truck.
Common questions
Will the water truck measure the maximum possible capacity?
Not necessarily. Available supply and the test conditions may limit the measured result. The report should identify relevant limitations so the result is interpreted correctly.
Should we clean the soak hole first?
If sediment or debris obscures the bore openings or affects the device, cleaning may be needed. We review the condition before deciding on the testing sequence.
Water truck flow testing in practice.
Our water-truck testing work brings the supply to the site. Vehicle positioning, hose routing and access to the device are planned together, so your test can be carried out in a controlled, practical arrangement.
